If you’ve referred someone to open a tiney home

If you refer someone to tiney using a referral code, and they go on to start trading, then you’ll receive the referral reward as long as the following conditions are met.

In order to be eligible, your referee must join tiney and provide a valid referral code before they pay their joining fee. They must give their referral code when booking the initial call or when speaking to an advisor on the phone. A valid code must be given before your referee pays the joining fee.

Your referral code will be considered valid if:

• The Childminder is currently registered with tiney.
• The Childminder had an invoice paid by a parent within the last 3 months.
• The Childminder is not in the process of deregistration.
• The Childminder’s code has not been used more than 5 times in the same calendar month.

Valid codes entitled the referee to a £150 discount on the training joining fee and entitle the Childminder a reward to the value of £150.

When a parent pays the referees first invoice, the Childminder will be eligible for a reward to the value of £150. If:

• The Childminder is currently registered with tiney.
• The Childminder had an invoice paid by a parent within the last 3 months.
• The Childminder is not in the process of deregistration.

The value of the £150 reward may be either paid directly into your tiney wallet or may be applied as a credit on future tiney payment fees. tiney reserves the right to decide on the method of reward payment.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers that reduces the joining fee

If you’ve referred someone to open a tiney home

If you’ve been given a code by an existing tiney childminder, you’ll receive a discount on your joining fee as long as the following conditions have been met.

You must enter a valid code when booking your initial call or when speaking to your sales advisor. A valid referral code must be provided before you pay the joining fee.

A referral code is considered valid if the following conditions are met:

• The Childminder is currently registered with tiney.
• The Childminder had an invoice paid by a parent within the last 3 months.
• The Childminder is not in the process of deregistration.
• The Childminder’s code has not been used more than 5 times in the same calendar month.

To qualify for the referral program, codes must be provided before the joining fee has been paid. Codes will not be accepted and refunds will not be provided after this point.

These terms and conditions are valid for any joining fee paid after the 1st of December 2023 and any currently registered tiney childminder. If you referred someone before that date previous terms and conditions apply.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. The amount of £150 will be deducted from the tiney joining fee on provision of a valid referral code. No cash alternative will be provided.

If you’ve referred someone to open a tiney home

If your friend successfully joins tiney using your referral code prior to signing their offer commitment, you are entitled to a referral reward as long as the following conditions are met.

In order to be eligible, your referee must have used the referral link or code at the outset of their journey prior to the signing of their offer commitment. There are multiple moments prior to that point that we ask for a referral code including: when signing up to learn more, when speaking to their advisor, and when completing their ‘About Me’ form prior to signing their offer commitment. This will ensure that they receive the 50% off of their joining fee *

A referral is only eligible for 12 months from the point at which your referred person uses your code. If their offer commitment is not signed within 12 months of that point, neither of you will be eligible to receive your referral rewards.

Your £300 referral reward will be released in increments as the referred person progresses through their childminder journey, as follows:

• £50 when they sign their offer commitment
• £100 when they successfully become registered
• £150 when they have their first invoice

All payouts must be claimed within 4 weeks of eligible referral stages. This means that £100 must be claimed within 4 weeks of your referee registering, and the £150 must be claimed within 4 weeks of your registered referee commencing trading.

These terms and conditions are valid for any offer commitments signed after the 12th of September 2022. If you referred someone before that date you will still be enrolled in the former programme and you and your referred contact will be given a lump sum of £300 once they have received their first invoice.

If you signed up to open a home nursery using a joining code

If you’ve used someone's referral code to join tiney you are entitled to 50% off your joining fee *

In order to be eligible for a referral you must have used the referral link or code at the outset of your journey prior to signing your offer commitment. There are multiple points prior to then that you will be prompted to give your referral code including when you first sign up for more details, when you speak to an advisor and when you complete your ‘About Me’ form prior to signing your offer commitment. If a referral link has not been used and a referral code has not been given prior to that point, the referral will no longer be valid.

A referral is only valid for 12 months from the point at which you apply a referral code. If you do not sign your offer commitment within 12 months of using the code, neither you nor your referrer will be eligible for your referral rewards.
