What is the tiney childminding app?

The tiney childminding app is the operational backbone of how tiney childminders run their home based childcare businesses. The tiney app makes it easy for childminders to adopt standardised processes and tools that have been built by tiney and tested with thousands of childminders and their families. The goal of the tiney app is to provide a solution for every aspect of running a childcare business and is the only app that providers registered with tiney will need to run their setting.

Can I print or download from the app?

The resources section of the tiney app provides a number of regularly updated activity sheets, posters and other resources to download and use in your setting. Wherever possible, for the business side of life we’ve digitised (or are in the process of digitising!) the reams of paperwork that a childminder would typically have to deal with. This means that most of the time anything you print off will be because you want to, not because you have to!

How do I know the data I upload is safe and secure?

Tiney takes privacy and data protection extremely seriously, and we are fully compliant with the GDPR. The app is built on top of a modern technology stack, data is encrypted to industry standards, and we conduct regular security reviews. All payments information is handled by PCI compliant, industry leading providers. Additionally, tiney is registered with the FCA as an electronic money distribution (EMD) agent, which ensures any funds held in the tiney wallet are fully safeguarded in line with industry regulations.

What is a childminder communication app?
