A tiney home near a park and playground, brimming with stories, music, and care. My tiney Home will be fun, safe, nurturing, and focused on learning through play. It will provide exciting activities and daily outdoor explorations, adhere to EYFS guidelines, and offer toys and resources that challenge and excite. I will ensure that children receive the food and rest needed to fully enjoy the environment of my tiney home.

About our tiney childminder

I am looking forward to provide high-quality care, along with fun, playful resources and activities. I run a weekly toddler group, have worked in nurseries, and I'm a mother to a 10-year-old boy. Additionally, my family includes a friendly dog and my husband. I enjoy interacting and communicating with children and am committed to providing an inclusive, caring environment. My approach to education incorporates stories and music, fostering an enjoyable and creative atmosphere.

I run a weekly toddler group where I take pleasure in meeting families and creating a safe, welcoming environment that includes messy and creative play, numerous role-play activities, and a vibrant story and music time. I aim to extend this level of care, promoting learning through play within my own home, supplemented by daily outdoor activities in the garden, park, and local woodland. Following EYFS guidelines, I will use available resources to ensure inclusive, meaningful interactions with the children.

Outdoor Adventures

In addition to garden time for physical play, bug hunting, and bubble time, I have a park and playground just a 2-minute walk away. The Millennium Gardens, which feature wooden animal sculptures in a beautiful wooded area for even more outdoor fun, are only a 5-minute walk away.

Messy play

I am looking forward to provide sensory and messy play activities, drawing on the interests of the children in my care to create enjoyable learning opportunities.

I am located in the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint, about 8 miles from Brighton, 2 miles from the train station in Hassocks, and 3 miles from the town of Burgess Hill. My location is just 2 minutes away from a park and playground. The village also has several other small playgrounds, a library, two toddler groups, and a lovely small wooded area with a meadow. There's even a farm park just a 15-minute walk away.
