A welcoming home from home setting, in the middle of Bedale. Passionate about learning through play and particularly outdoor learning. Feeling part of a community is important to us. You will find us out daily at local groups, activities, and at the shops/markets. Children have a big involvement in preparing our meals right from planting seeds to chopping and cooking. Expect messy play, adventures, and a lot of fun.

Here at Little Bear, children are encouraged to learn through play. We give them opportunities to explore all areas of learning in an exciting and stimulating way that is age appropriate. We love being outdoors both at the setting and about in the community. After 17 years working with children and families, and now being a mummy to two children myself I have set up Little Bear to bring all my knowledge and love of early years together so I can offer children an excellent early years education.
