I met lots of different childminders and trialled one, before meeting Sidonie and her home from home setting, Little Rainbows. The care provided is excellent and I am so glad I found Little Rainbows:- - The contact and reassurance on how my child is doing is crucial for me to focus at work and has been outstanding. - Support and perseverance with encouraging my baby to take expressed milk means that when reunited, our nights are easier and more restful for both of us. - Gentle parenting principles and a really caring, nurturing environment which works hand in hand with my own parenting style. - An honest two-way conversations about my son, his progress, interactions, engagement and working together to support his development. - A sympathetic approach to a sensitive situation regarding my child's visibility on social media; while not reducing my visibility of what he's doing during the day. - Sidonie and Bobbi both genuinely love what they do and bring kindness, energy, enthusiasm and creativity to everey days activities. - Help, guidance and support for me given their background in childcare, but also recognition and regard for my wishes and preferences. (EG. Using some sign language to support early communication with my son.) - A great balance of playing at home with lots of excellent resources, as well as trips out / getting outdoors. - Home cooked meals and a selection of healthy snacks which has really helped continue my baby's weaning journey and enjoyment of food. I totally trust Little Rainbows and am so grateful for their wonderful care for my son. He is my world and knowing he is safe, happy and stimulated gives me peace of mind.”
