About this home

A homely, welcoming nursery with easy access to the A41, buses and Thames Link. 9 Minute walk to Hendon Central tube station, side road parking, a secured entrance and buggy shed. School pick ups and drop offs from St. Joseph’s and Sunnyfields primary schools. Bright, spacious and well equipped playroom. Physical activities such as yoga & breathing exercise can take place in the newly built outdoor area suitable to use in all weathers. Regular outings and a rich musical environment.

About our tiney childminder

I am from Sri Lanka and speak English and Sinhalese. I am married and have two older boys. I have a professional family background. I sing and I am learning to play piano. I love cake designing, gardening and physical exercises, which the children will enjoy too. Reading and writing poems are my hobbies. I love being surrounded by young children and my aim is to give my best to the children I care for.

Singing and music

I will do a variety of music and movement activities. Children will enjoy rich rhyme times and explore real musical instruments. I am planning to arrange piano lessons for older children, hiring a qualified piano teacher, so that they can get the benefit of using the piano while in my care.

Physical exercises and meditation

I include lots of physical activities to our routine. Children will be able to practice yoga and breathing exercises with me.

Flexible

I can offer flexible hours on request. I will be happy to help with emergencies/ starting early or finishing late.

There are different cultural shops to visit, Topsy Turvey World, Hendon Library, toddler groups and more. Children can enjoy a range of outdoor activities outside of my garden. Belmont Farm and RAF Museum are close by.
