Leanne's tiney home nursery

Our children have been coming to Leanne's since January 2022. After a rocky child care journey previously, I have never seen my eldest so confident and happy to be dropped off in the mornings. I can tell that he feels valued by Leanne as he is always so excited to tell her about things that have happened or are important to him. When I ask him if he wants to go to Leanne's, he says "Yes because I was sad at nursery when you left me". We hear nothing but positive things about our children's days; visiting a range of places led by their interests. The progress with independent skills, language, writing and increasing confidence is clear with both of my children. Leanne has great communication with us. Updating us with pictures, handovers and messages through the day when needed. I feel confident in the fact that our children are looked after and safe when in her care.

When asked to write about Leanne I was buzzing with thoughts but that was the problem, as I could write a book about how amazing she has been for my son and the other children in her care! When looking for a childminder, I hoped to find someone who built a strong relationship with my son, made him feel safe and educated him through play. Leanne has been the best thing ever! She has such a sunny disposition and is caring to everyone. Archie has a home from home experience, that includes anything from going to the tip, to shops, to soft play, to playgroup etc etc. When he is at her house they are always busy reading library books, creating artwork, cooking and always laughing and smiling. I can’t thank her enough for being a part of bringing up my son alongside me. I know when I drop Archie off that he is excited to go, has an amazing time and most importantly is safe and has a high well-being!
