My setting is in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac. We are a 5min walk away from local amenities and a beautiful lake, which you can walk around to a large play park. We are a 10min walk away to the canal, which you can walk along all the way to town centre. There are many play parks within walking and driving distance. It is a 15min drive to the closest train station.
