About this home

A warm and welcoming home from home setting that provides an enabling environment where children feel safe to flourish. With three rooms indoors for children to explore, plus our garden, outdoor learning hut and the local community, there are endless opportunities for fun! Small ratios mean that children benefit from lots of individual attention and a highly personalised approach whilst also having playmates to learn and grow with. We love learning outdoors and take every opportunity to do so!

About our tiney childminder

I live with my husband and our three wonderful children. Prior to training as an early years educator I spent 16 years as a family law solicitor with a leading High Street firm. Being able to set up my own home nursery is my dream job as I am at my happiest in the presence of children! However, my background as a professional working mum means that I really understand the importance of good quality, reliable childcare and the parental need for reassurance that their children are in safe hands.

In this neighbourhood

Locally we have a great range of outdoor learning environments and fun places to visit.

We are lucky to have lots of wonderful parks and green spaces just a short walking distance from my home nursery. By also offering after school care for the children of St Philip Westbrook school this will enable the younger children to get used to a school setting and give them more opportunities to socialise with a range of age groups within our Bee Happy family. On the way to school we pass 2 duck ponds, a children’s park, lots of lovely green spaces and a wood! Adjacent to the school is a shopping centre and our local library which we like to attend regularly to refresh our bookshelves.

We are in a prime location just a short walk to our local train station and we also have the benefit of our campervan for trips further afield.
