Welcome to Rose Garden! Our family home, is a welcoming space for children to feel inspired, welcome, safe & happy as they experience a variety of play opportunities to support their holistic development. Places are applicable for tax-free childcare.
Includes a covered garden area & free-flow play environment. We also have the opportunity of visits within the local community such as library, playgroups, nature reserves & even the Aquarium in Plymouth & more.
I have almost 20yrs of experience in Early childhood, as teacher, manager, parent & childminder. I’m qualified to degree level in Early Childhood & have up to date training in first aid & many other courses. I’m passionate about children accessing inspiring play opportunities to support their development in a holistic way. Our family home is a setting that welcomes children & families. Nature & outdoor play is part of our everyday experience here.
I have previously studied early childhood to degree level & have experience of teaching in an early years setting.
Nature & exploring the natural work is part of everyday here at Rose Garden. We are lucky to be situated next to 2 nature reserves.

We used Amber for our little boy from 1 year till 3 years old. He loved being at Amber's and still talks about her fondly. We never worried about him whilst he was with Amber and he was always happy and enjoying the range of activities they did together, ranging from walks to the ducks, mud painting or playing with the toys inside. With Amber's experience of being a teacher, she was able to link the early years framework within the activities she provided. it was clear that with Amber's years of professional experience working with young people, her approach to childcare was informative yet fun.
