Celebrating You, Our tiney Everyday Heroes
The life of an early years educator is rich and varied—balancing care, learning and play, not to mention endless songs and stories! At the heart of it all, your dedication shapes a safe, inspiring space for children to learn and grow.
At tiney we see the impact you're making daily as part of a child’s early education, and we’re so grateful for the love, care, and skill you pour into your work. As we approach the end of the year, we’re excited to put on a fantastic night of professional and personal development and invite our community, parents, childminder trainees and the wider early years sector to a special opportunity to pause, celebrate, and be inspired by an incredible speaker - Jaz Ampaw-Farr. Join tiney and Jaz to discover why personal and professional growth matters as a childminder, and how tiney supports you as an “Everyday Hero” making an extraordinary impact.
Educator mindset – “Role Models that Inspire”
As an early years educator or parent, who were the role models that inspired you? Perhaps it was someone who spoke up for what’s right, held strong values, or made a lasting difference. The role of a childminder is a powerful one—you’re a role model to the children in your care. Staying focused on your purpose elevates your work and keeps you striving for excellence. The foundation you’re building is shaping children’s lives in a way that lasts. This belief drives me, too, in leading our education and training programs at tiney. It’s a joy to support you on this journey!
Time to reflect and refresh your vision and mission with Jaz Ampaw-Farr
We are so privileged to welcome Jaz Ampaw-Farr to talk to our community. A former teacher who also worked for a time as a childminder and now a Multi-Award-Winning International Speaker, Jaz brings a unique blend of real-life experience, resilience, and humour to her message. Her life story—beginning with challenging years of homelessness and foster care—transformed into a journey of inspiration, strength, and leadership. All inspired by educators who saw her potential and provided her with belief and an opportunity to be more. When Jaz speaks, she connects deeply and authentically, inviting us to rethink our mindset and our impact.
On the 25th November, Jaz will be joining tiney to help celebrate the journey of our childminders and remind us of the power you hold as “Everyday Heroes” in the lives of children. It’s an honour to have her with us—don’t miss this chance to be inspired by one of the best!
Tiney childminders can book their place via our community hub, members of the wider early years community and parents are able to book their spot via eventbrite.
