Who we are

tiney are a small team with a big vision for the Early Years sector. Between us we bring a complementary mix of Childcare, Education, Design and Technology expertise. Brett Wigdortz OBE, our founder, previously spent 15 years transforming schools with Teach First and then globally with Teach For All. Together, we all believe that by reimagining how parents find, buy and use high quality local childcare, we can in turn enable better progress for young children everywhere.

What we want

Our long term vision is to create a brand new childcare choice for parents that combines all the educational benefits of home-based ‘family style’ settings with all the convenience and customer service of larger nursery settings. In doing this, we believe we can be a force for positive Early Years transformation in the UK and beyond. We want to see an Early Years sector that works harder for childcare providers, parents and children in equal measure. We believe we can do all this by harnessing the power of people, technology and policy.

Good with business

Tiney is a pre-registered B-Corp, meaning we believe wholeheartedly in using business as a force for good. As a B-Corp we’ve committed to meet the highest social and environmental standards of all companies globally and are driven by a purpose to benefit all our stakeholders, not just shareholders.

Our investors, partners & the wider team

We’re building tiney with support from over 30 amazing investors and partners. Our service is being shaped collaboratively with our users and our mission is backed by some of the best minds in both the Early Years and wider technology sector, a few of whom are listed here.
